James Fritz is a broker associate and global real estate advisor with Premier Sotheby's International Realty's Asheville office, serving buyers and sellers throughout Western North Carolina. Licensed in both North Carolina and Florida, James brings a practical, detail-oriented perspective to real estate, with particular insight into relocation and property condition.

Originally from Rochester, Minnesota, James has lived in numerous states across the country before settling in Western North Carolina with his partner, Trish, in 2019. Having personally navigated several major moves and maintaining a second home in Fort Myers, Florida, he understands both the logistical and emotional considerations that come with relocating.

Before entering real estate, James built a 36-year career in the printing industry, including more than 20 years in management, followed by extensive experience in facility and equipment maintenance. His technical background, along with his experience as a handyman, gives him a valuable perspective when helping buyers and sellers understand the practical aspects of a property. He earned his Florida real estate license in 2023 and his North Carolina license in 2025.

James is a member of the Naples Area Board of REALTORS® and Land of the Sky Association of REALTORS®. Whether assisting with a first home, a sale, relocation or an investment property, he is committed to providing clear communication, honest guidance and attentive service throughout the process.

Outside of real estate, James enjoys motorcycle and bicycle rides, hiking, camping, cooking, music and discovering unusual destinations throughout the Americas.
